Cyndee Wilkin of Wild Granite Tamed takes pieces of discarded granite and reshapes them to use as servers for cheese/crackers, sushi, desserts or cold/hot plates.  If placed in the freezer before serving, they will keep food cold for hours!  The granite top and edges are waterproof sealed and silicone feet keep scratches off countertops.  “They make great gifts, especially if you add a bottle of wine with cheese/crackers or chocolates in a cellophane wrap with a bow!” she says.

Born and raised on a Central Illinois farm, Cyndee lived in Springfield since college and spent 37 years designing commercial interiors, managing facilities and developing adult online training.  She always had a love for the arts, color, furniture and nature since a young age when taught to refinish furniture, appreciate antiques and treasure the country  – thanks to family.  Following her retirement, Cyndee has spent her time immersed in painting, photography, reclaimed art and anything creative that feeds the soul.  Thus, arose Wild Granite Tamed.
